Not Exactly an Eviction...

More along the lines of finding a place to accommodate more press, but why let truth get in the way of a "fake news" story?

President-elect Trump may kick the press out of the White House briefing room and into a different space nearby when he takes office, according to a report published Saturday.
Esquire reported that according to three transition officials, the Trump team is kicking around the idea of putting the press in the White House Conference Center or a place in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, located next door to the White House.
Sean Spicer, the incoming White House press secretary, told the magazine "there has been no decision" but the Trump team is trying to figure out how to accommodate more press.~snip~
I'm trying to figure out why we need a dinosaur era White House press corps anyway.
It's not like the old days where reporters where the gate keepers of anything coming from the president or his aides. Trumps pretty much embraced social media and there is a real time opportunity for the regular guy to respond and share what he says.
I got a feeling the antiquated press is going to slowly fade away anyway.
